No. They come from one of two plants in Japan. The Tacoma's come from the US.

No, they all made in Japan (one more reason for me to have one).
As far as I know, 4Runner and Land Cruisers are only two Toyota vehicles (out all Cars, Trucks and SUV) are made only in Japan.
I am not sure about RAV4, it maybe another one that comes only from Japan.
I know one of the reasons I didn't mind buying a used 4runner was that it was made in japan!
Its pretty sad that we prefer to have our cars built in japan then here, but there attention to detail and there process of minimizing mistakes is still leaps and bounds over us.
The top 10 returns for the clunker program are 8 different ford explorer year models and 2 jeep cherokees

That is crazy that we (meaning US citizens) actually prefer stuff made outside the US. For me its partly because the last US vehicle I owed was a dud.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer things made in the USA for most things, but vehicles are just not one of them. We might as well call them Jeeps in that case.

What most of the buy American crowd does not realize is that a large number of "American" cars and trucks are built in Mexico or Canada.
I drove by the GM plant in Silao, Mexico, that plant is huge. :jaw drop:

There is, but the product of those plants stay in China as far as i know. I believe those plants usually do the Buick/Oldsmobile/Cadillac brands.Labor is cheaper over there. Anyone know if there's a GM plant in China?

The RAV4 used to be Japan only. The latest model may still be made in Japan but is also the only vehicle made in Toyota's newest North American assembly plant in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada (part of TMMC.)
My 2000 Tundra is also US built. That said, it doesn't "feel" like a US truck...they must've done a good job instilling the Japan-build and quality practices into the Tundra plant, or something.
I test drove a 2008 Silverado when I was looking for a new truck last year, my search ended when I decided my 10 y/o Tundra (almost, at that time, bought it in Sept 1999 so it is basically 10 now) was still just fine - that I'd maybe like another mid-sized SUV. Test drove the T4R and never looked back. The Silverado I test drove was a 5.3L V8 4x4 4door - they wanted $44k (trimmed out much like my T4R, leather, LTZ trim, etc). I paid much less for my T4R and got a far better product IMHO, even if it is rated to tow slightly less. The only advantage that the Silverado offered (other than a few moer HP) was the AFT which does save some gas.
My wife's new Pontiac is another prime example of very fine "furrin" technology since it is really a Holden and was made in Australia (she got a G8 GT before Pontiac went belly up). It's got a nice LS2 (360HP or so), is a RWD, and has AFT - she's getting better than 20mpg in it and it can smoke a lot of cars, from 0-100, that cost much more. And oh yeah, has 4 doors and is grocery store friendly as a result...lol

YEAP, they do....GM used to sell more cars in China than any other brand up until 08. That might still be the case, but I don't have the latest numbers. They sell more than 100,000 cars per month in China...
I don't think where it's built is important, it's where it was designed and the manufacturing technology developed. The quality will only be as good as the prints and tools the workers are given. Look at all the foreign vehicles built in the US - Toyota, Honda, Nissan, BMW, Mercedes. All quality. My Civic was built in OH, my Odyssey built just across the river from Detroit and I'm very happy with them.
