Beach Runner

Hey everyone! Thought I'd share a little insight I gained while detailing my "new to me" 4Runner. The PO took great care of the vehicle maintenance wise and he didn't do a bad job keeping it clean. There was however, a lot of wax "stains" on the window moldings and door gaskets. In the past I had damaged the molding on my Tacoma trying to get the stains off by rubbing them to hard. I did get them off, but as time went on the rubber looked like crap.
After pondering what I was going to use and trying a few things that didn't work, I happened to be looking for something else in the cabinet under the kitchen sink and I noticed my wife had a box of the "Mr Clean Magic Erasers". I thought what the heck and gave it a try. It worked and with very little effort!! :reddance: I had also removed the fender trim in preparation for a serious wax job and even though I was able to get all of the dirt and tar off, the paint still had mud stains showing. I very gently wiped over it with the eraser and the mud stains dissappeared. I would not recommend this normally, but I knew I would be polishing and sealing after the fact so I did it.
I will in no way be held responsible if the erasers don't work for you or cause damage, but it worked for me and I wanted to share!

P.S. I later found that Target has the generic brand of erasers for about a dollar per box cheaper. I bought some, but I've yet to try them.
