Man , i went to a local automotive shop to get my muffler changed... i got a magna-flow installed... and took off the resinator ?sp ... woah did it make a difference... i contacted VoLant and they are almost finishing the intake for the 4thgen's... look for pics.. i am driving down to LA to get it done by them on my truck... already arranged and really stoked bout getting it... that'll be my last mod, i swear... i swear..

Yeah RIGHT!

it'll be awhile before i get pics of this one... i gotta drive back to Pcola' naval base tommorrow...

.. i saw the guy MIG weld the muffler on.. and when i saw the BOAT they cut out and remove... wow that thing is big... the magnaflow muffler was significantly smaller... then i looked around. i didn't realize they have a cat for both sides of the motor and then it goes into another CAT before the muffler.... what's up with all the catalitics in it huh? man......

yea...i believe the v8's have 4 cats while the v6's have 3. by the way......you only got the muffler right? not the whole cat-back system? what kind of difference are you noticing?

ps. you have an awesome rig. i've been meaning to compliment but never got around to it. ;): what color are your drls? what type of bulbs? i have bluish white cuzos.

LEV certified? hmm, first for me... what's that?

TranceKrayz , are you a techno nut like myself or just a coolio name? Yep, i talked to the guy about it, a full cat back or just change the muffler... unless i am super tunning my rig, which i am not trying to, i am sorta moding on a budget, aren't we all, so i just wanted the muffler changed... if i had my way, i'd pull the entire exhaust system and go to  Enoche's muffler in burbank.. that guy built the exhaust for my dodge quadcab, and that guy , i think dale or dave, is a genius with tuning engines.... super cool to talk to and gives sound advise and No BS... i have to drive to Los Angeles to ship my car out, but i am on a time crunch now since pcola got waxed by this hurricane IVAN... so i was planning on taking leave and having my trucks exhaust built by this guy... long way to go for a muffler huh.. from pcola to los angeles.. but when you want the best...

my daytime running lights, the orange one had to go... i bought Xenon 4157 or 3157... something like that.. the buld looks blue but it's super white...

i'm not a techno nut...i'm a trance nut! :D i listen to mainly european dj's like paul van dyk and armin van buuren.

burbank for a muffler? haha...dude i'm in chicago! if you think you had to go far.....:p . well i'm only a little father then you.

anyways.....what do you listen to? sorry for hijacking the thread....but i'm just curious.

i spent alot of time in europe and what not... i bought almost all of the Ibiza stuff i could find... started listening to that, then realized the computer techno stuff was screaming, then clubs started playing the old school 80's stuff with faster beats and called it different things, house, what not... trance is super faster than techno i think... am i right.. after some point, i just can't take it and need to hear lyrics or a change of beat... DJ micro's pretty cool... rabbit in the moon, paul okenfold... stuff like that... then alot of club rap.... mainly it all started with stereo systems when i used to install those... i went for clarity , then spl, then just plain loud... not back to clarity and hard hitting base.. not boomy....

i like dj micro too...he just came out with a new cd....."out through the input". it's pretty good. that's the type of music i listen to....so i guess we have something in common! i'm not into booming bass....just tight thumping bass. this is good because sometimes i'm in the mood for some alternative rock. :p
