Magnaflow? Cerry Bomb? recommendations

Hey guys I know some of yall have exhaust systems but I was wondering what you reccomend. I want to get a cataylac converter but not sure which one. I want it loud but not crazzy. And how much did you pay? I know its person perference. thanks in advance.

Magnaflow is good, but will not last very long. Pretty much any high flow 2 chamber cat back will work. Do not go 1 chamber or cheese grater... your computer will get pissy.

Thats just a muffler right? Ive been thinking of getting a muffler too for a little more sound.

I got a Jones Exhaust "Full Boar" muffler, its a Flowmaster 40 series knock off. It sounds pretty good, it drones a little, not too loud. Better than stock...
100 bucks installed.

I got it from a local muffler shop, it was just over 100 bucks installed

You can get a real Flowmaster 40 series for right around $63. It shouldn't cost more than $20 or 30 to get it welded on.

How much are you looking to spend? Flowmaster is on the upper end of the muffler spectrum.

dude i know how u feel since ive been trying to decide on a muffler too. I was price quoted in San Antonio with install included on stock piping...

Im getting my brakes done at a Meineke Friday, I guess Ill see if they have any interesting mufflers there that I can get a good deal on.

Meineke's prices on mufflers is extremely pricey compared to the random muffler shops around town. They priced me a vortex cherrybomb on stock muffler for like 250+ for muffler and install...

Haha I figured that included mufflers. After I posted I was like holy crap that labor charge is high, maybe I should change my major and make some money!

Guess I'm the only guy with a spintech. I think I paid around $100 for the muffler, $50 for the magnaflow cat and I used stock original piping. If you go with my set up, do not get larger piping! It flows plenty and sounds more beastly than any 4runner I've ever heard.

Yep. D bags wanted $70 to cut and weld a muffler!! I know at least 2 shops that would do it for $25. So I just need to find the right direct swap muffler for the right deep sound and Ill get someone to throw it on. Please guide me to a link where I can just get a decent, high flow, deep sound quality muffler.
