Just wondering, I am still saving my pennies for a new 4Runner and doing research on aftermarket exhausts. From what I have read, Borla makes a system for the V6 and the V8, I have seen pictures on here of members who have them installed.
Now, I have been doing some homework and seen that Magnaflow has an exhaust for the V8 model 4Runner and that got me to thinking.
If I remember right, Borla's exhaust is the same for the V6 and the V8, there is no difference in part # or anything, it uses the same exhaust.
If that is the case, I am thinking then that is the same situation for the Magnaflow. I would love to get a Magnaflow since it is under $500 bucks. But the difference I think is, it is a dual tip muffler that comes out the back, not sure if the gains for HP are a lot.
Here is a description from the Magnaflow site:
5x11x22" Muffler 2.5" tubing 3.8x3.0" dual side exit rectangle tips
And another from Ptuning.com:

Any input would me much appreciated. Thank you again.
