Magnaflow Exhaust

Has anyone successfully installed a Magnaflow 15810 kit made for the Tacomos on their 3rd gen 4Runner? From the specs it appears to be a direct cat back bolt on. I am thinking about ordering it, but am not sure if there are anything known to be different. I am forced to go this route as my tail pipe and mid pipes are starting to rust away at the welds.

I have a magnaflow exhaust on my 97 runner. I bought it with it on so never had the experience with the stock exhaust and power, but yes you can tell it's not stock. I can hear the exhaust. Not too loud but well enough to know im up the street.

Won't fit... tacoma exhausts are longer, so it would stick out way too far even if you could make it work... hangers aren't in the same place either.

hi everyone, magnaflow just sent me an email with the CAD drawings exported out to a GIF file. I have posted it for everyone to use a reference or resource if at all helpful. I will measure my stock exhaust up when I get into my buddies toasty warm garage.

i do like magnaflow but they have everyother exhuast but for a 96-02 exhaust i dont get it

im pretty sure that the stillen exhaust for the 4runner was made by magnaflow.

I have magnaflow, went to the local muffler shop, BDM Performance exhaust in Denver is Awesome, and told them what I was looking for and they did it, High Flow Cat, larger piping, magnaflow muffler, chrome tip coming out behind the pasenger rear tire. Looks awesome and if you can't hear/feel me coming your deaf or your music is to loud.

Tacoma exhaust will NOT fit, I already looked into that route, you would have to customize the entire kit and by the time your done your local shop would have done the complete install for less.

If you want a really loud runner PM me I have a flowmaster muffler that I took off because it sounded like a straight pipe 5.0 v8 mustang, It's LOUD.

So did you buy the 15810 kit?

It appears to be almost identical in size.

After further investigating and the input from other members on the board. I am forced to go the custom exhaust route. In all honesty, I'm glad at this point. The shop is going to do a 18" Magnaflow, full stainless 2.25 or 2.5 pipe from cat back, and any custom tip that I choose for $375 installed. That's cheaper than me buying the system and doing it myself. Thanks everyone.
