Got a Trueflow air filter from Burtman Industries yesterday and installed it last night. Headed out to work this morning and I had a pleasant surprise as it appears the new air filter has toned down the annoying Magnaflow drone that hits big time around 1800-2000 RPM!
Its still there, but seems to be happening in a smaller RPM range and its not as pronounced/loud. The drone also goes away quicker as you accelerate.
