magnaflow vs. gibson

Im new here and i have an 03 v8 4runner and was wondering which exhaust would be better the magnaflow 15781 or the gibson sweep side system

as with many things in the automotive industry and life in general...its all subjective to what you like personally.

Since no one has seemingly made exhaust clips for either setup, it seems that you would have to make a decision yourself unless you can find someone who has made some clips.

IMO and many others is the Magnaflow is the better quality muffler and if you still want a nice sound but not overly loud then go with the 24" muffler;the shorter 18" is the loud one.

also remember that if you order the cat back you get the 24" no matter.

I just wrote my guy at MAgna again and I told him that im just going to order it and see what happens...

Yeah the Gibson looks pretty nice to me. I personally just like one exhaust tip (Gibson) (Magnaflow has two).

Plus I think the Gibson is the cheaper of the two.

if you guys want to clips to my gibson exhaust then ask boaz for it...i won't be at my computer this summer so i won't be able to send it to you guys...hopefully boaz still has them...it's not the best quality but it's still something...

From pics I've seen, is the Magnaflow is a side exit, while the Gibson exits rear?

from the pics iv seen it exits out the side isnt that why its called a sweep side but anyway i m leaning tward the gibson and was wondering if the 100 bucks for the stainless was worth it or just go with the alluminized

go with the stainless, one of gibson's employee told me to go with the stainless when they hooked me up with the free exhaust...stainless won't rust as fast as alluminized and will last longer in the long run...it's worth the extra $100 or so...
