Does anyone have experience with this muffler on a 4.0 v6? I am thinking about replacing the stock muffler for something that is deeper. I have heard a clip on a FJ Cruiser and it sounded alright, but it was a smaller modle than I would be looking at. I think the 3 chambers will probably cut down on some of the drone.
My other thoughts have gone towards Flowmaster 50 series suv muffler or the 70 series big block mufflers. They definitely have that deep sound and are on the lower end of the volume scale for Flowmaster mufflers.
My concern with Flowmaster is the fact that they are aluminized steel vs stainless steel for the magnaflow.
I know that a v6 will not sound like a v8, but I want some deepness and a bit more volume than stock. I have already removed the resonator and turned the exhaust out the side with a magnaflow tip. I love the look and now want to ad some sound.
