I took my 07 Limited out to get dirty this afternoon. Handled like a dream. Got to test out the 4WD, center locker, etc.

Here are a couple shots:

Still got the dealer plates on and huckin it through the bog!! Was that on Sunday or Monday? I havent seen that spot with so much water in it in a long time. G*D DAMMIT IM JEALOUS!!

:rocker:

I bought the 4R to offroad it. My last car was a lowered Acura CL-S, so it's been a long time coming to hit the dirt (or mud puddles in this case.)

Yeah... dealer plates on both the 4R and the Taco actually...

That was Monday at about 4:30pm.

The limited is Galactic Grey. Stock... So far. ;):

So, I sprayed down the whole truck on Monday night. It was getting dark, so I did the best I could with just water. this morning, there were piles of mud in my driveway. Better than on the 4R. But the 4R looked like it did before I sprayed it down. That mud was a pain in the a$$ to get off. I paid $6.99 at the local car wash to have them hand wash the exterior. They didn't do a very good job in my opinion and so I brought it home and washed it again. After I was almost all done drying, I opened the hood to gain access to the hidden part of the front bumper and I found the engine compartment looking like this... :bash:

Best solution Ive come up with are the coin operated buggy wash places. Theres one right by us sid, its off Lake Forest by the 241 toll road and home depot. All the soap and degreaser you need and dont have to worry about cleaning or hosing down the mud that comes off the truck. And they got the seperate wash gun that I spray my engine with and then blast it. Hell, I even brought my wheel ramps so I could get under the truck easier. I dont wash mine anywhere else anymore.

I purchased a power washer from Costco tonight. We'll see what we can do to clean up that engine bay tomorrow. :D

Looks like you had a blast. I can imagine the amount of mud you washed off. My driveway is covered with dirt, salt and sand after a light snow storm for snowboarding.

If your powerwasher is the Karcher at Costco, I recommend the underbody spray wand accessory. Works really well washing off all the muck underneath the truck.

Congrats , excellent pic's and glad to see you use it for what it was designed for .

I had mine off road on trails the second nite with 85 miles on it , just doing some trails and a little mud noting big.

About a week later I really got into some crap and caked it up pretty well. I stopped by the Toyota dealer to show them my handy work...lol. A few of the mgr's and a few of the sales people came out clapping when I was getting out of my truck , sayin someone actually uses it for what its made for .

The were joking with me but one of the mgr's said we should keep it here parked right outside the front door for a little promotion. Since thats when the had dirt cheap finance & lease rates going on the 4R. They wanted to hang a sign on it that said "Dirt cheap" finance and lease rates. Cool idea , I would have let them , it was def. an eye catcher.

Anyway , congrats on the 4R & having so much fun with it.

nice color, mine is meteorite color, its canadian version, i also had an acura tl before, trade it , and never been long off road for a long time , so when around a 1000 km, i dirt it on the construction field. for wash the 4runner , yeah, pretty hard, for me, it takes 3 days to complete it. lots of mud inside it. especially the engine. gotta spraywash it.
next month, gonna drive it to the states....

:D
