Main reason why I bought a t4r....

A year later and I'm now finally getting some sleep. She still wakes up once in the night, but it's better than the 5 times she was 3 months ago. Here she is enjoying the 4runner and I don't want to start a debate, but man I'm happy I got leather. Her milk and food is everywhere.

I have leather too so it will definitely help...
 
Yeah she wouldn't get out of the 4runner after shopping. Good luck in the NICU. My daughter was there for 4 weeks before we could take her home. It was an awesome/scary moment when they said we could take her home. How big was your son? My daughter was 3.5 lbs when she was born.

son is 4.6 and I thought he's too small...but 3.5lbs?wow...at least everything went well for your daughter...my son needs to stay even though he's doing ok..

She is crazy and fearless. I'm definitely make her first car a 4runner. 15 years from now will probably be a 4th gen or maybe 5th gen. That's weird to think about. The old beater for me was a 1st gen, but she might have a 4th gen as the beater.
 
He'll be fine. My brother was 1 pound 14 ounces when he was born, about 12 weeks early. He's 18 now, he just called me actually on his way up to Penn State to go party with some friends for the weekend. They catch up pretty fast. My son was 6.8 when he was born but he's one of the smallest kids in his class, coaching his tball team this year was funny as hell. Best of luck to you.
 
Congrats! We've got a 4-1/2 year old and a 7 month old. My wife and I bought the 4runner so we could enjoy family trips to the Outer Banks. Our newest addition was in the NICU for a week before coming home. It made us appreciate how truely blessed we are, considering others spend weeks if not months in the NICU. LOL - yep, that's what it's about. I felt the same way; then the nurse placed him in my arms. I looked at him, he looked at me and googly-goo'd; and suddenly I knew I'd go through hell itself to keep him safe. :)
 
I traded in my Audi TT for my 4Runner while my wife and newborn daughter were in the hospital. It was well worth the trade I might add (daughter and the car).
 
I guess i am late to the club. Bought mine for my baby too. But she turns 18 next week and plans to go to college in the mountains of NC. Wanted to make sure she has 4wd when she needs it and plenty of room to haul stuff back and forth.

You guys with the little ones, enjoy every minute and like the song says "dont blink"! It still gets me when i hear it.

sold my 96 runner a while back because of financial issues.
now that we're back on our feet, we bought another one a 97 limited
