I was looking at the maintance requirements between the V8 4runner and the Landcruiser and the LC has a lot more required. When you compare the same year vehicles. LC at 30K miles needs the wheel bearing repacked and the transmission fluid changed. Also they use limited slip in the LC and that needs to be changed at 30K miles. The LC is expensive to own compared to the 4runner. Anyone know why? You would think the flagship vehicle would be made to require less not more maintance. Strange. I want a LC bad, but everytime I look at them it always come back that I would be a lot smarter to buy the wife a 4runner to replace her Z versus the LC.
