I'm planning on installing a lift, extended brake lines, and putting on wheels/tires.

I'll be bringing my entire kit which includes Snap-On impacts, sockets, ratchets, wrenches and whatever else. I'll bring out my torque wrench too just in case.

So for your lift a few other tools come to mind that are needed:

-10mm crows wrench, extra brake fluid & a brake bleeder valve line to bleed the brakes
- 6 ton jack stands,
-spring compressor mainly for the fronts if they aren't already pre-assembled (but could also aid in the rear installation,
-bungee cord or wires to support the brake calipers while swapping out the fronts,
-the factory bottle jack to push down on the upper control arms up front...

I'll pickup brake fluid, and bring my bleeder line. I think I've got bungee cords around too and my truck still has its bottle jack. I have some large jackstands but I'd have to see if they were 6 ton or not. I'll rent a spring compressor from AZ before I leave as well.

I would for ease, maybe pick up some speed bleeders. I know when I do my Tundra upgrade eventually I plan on getting a set as they will be a huge asset when bleeding!

I have bungee cords and metal wire rated for 75lbs if we need them. I am going to borrow a buddies large jack stands that we used for my lift. I have 4 3 ton stands but they aren't large enough for a lift job. I have a my bottle jack and an 8 ton bottle jack as well.

Also if anyone else has a floor jack they would bring it would probably be a help as well. I have my nice floor jack but the more the merrier especially if we have more than one lifts going on at the same time.

My buddies Jason and Chris are going to be coming by to lend any extra hands we may need as well. I might be able to get Jason to bring his floor jack along too.

I didn't even think about a a floor jack. I'll bring mine as well.

Sweeeet. I might not be putting tires on that weekend. We'll see how money goes. Probably will have to ride around with little tires till I can get them.

Might as well, do em all one time.

Yeah you're probably right. The part that's going to be a pain is the fact that one of my bolts on my skid plate is rounded. Even tried drilling and messing with it for over a hour, and I couldn't get it to budge. It seems like I need to take the skid plate off to replace the belts though.

Which bolt is rounded? Like the location. Maybe we can get it off.

It's the rear left corner I believe. But it's mounted up inside the skid plate. I don't think there is any way you'll be able to get in there and cut it. I'm sure we will figure something out though. I'll be sure to bring so PB blaster also.

Ah, so the front skid rear left bolt. Those cross thread rather easily. I say pb blast it a couple times before you come. And tap on it once you get some one that sucker.

If you've got a socket that can grab onto it I can put my impact to it. That's how I usually get stuck bolts off. I may or may not have my lift parts in on time. I need to order front parts but that depends on my budget after bills this month. But at a minimum I need to do a oil change.

I'll be sure to hit it a few times before I come up.

I'll try to find a socket that can get a grip on it. The bolt has a hole drilled through it so it has to be getting weak lol.
