Maintenance Minder notification for LE t4r

I set the oil maintenance minder for 9k miles and when the mileage was up there was no notification on the screen or dash, but when I manually went in to check on it, it had a msg option saying "dont show this msg again"...

wtf? what good is a maintenance minder if it doesn't tell you when the set mileage is up? Did I set it wrong?

I know on my 11 it will only do 5k but recommended is 10k for oil change , should be in manual ?

Not talking about the light.

If you have the NAVI radio there is a maintenance section where you can set a certain number of miles for coolant, oil, filters etc... But mine did not post any kind of message on the screen when my miles were up for the oil that I had set. It had a msg when I went back to that menu, but that is useless... it's supposed to REMIND you.

Our MDX has something similar and it will nag the crap out of you unless you cancel the reminder.

I have found that thing to be useless. To date, I haven't got it to provide a single reminder. Also, if the radio hard resets, it seems to loose any data I've put into it. :gun5:

hmm strange on my 17 the reminder came up for my tire rotation for the 5k maint. It comes up on the center of lcd on the speedo every time I start the car.

you're lucky.. I need multiple computers to remind me of EVERYTHING.. also, since I paid for it, I wish it would do what it's supposed to do.

I have a '13 LE too and I checked last night to see if I had a maintenance screen that looks like yours on my display. Can you pls tell me how to navigate to that screen from the main screen on the NAV/LCD?

Sure. Press setup on right, vehicle, maintenance, show map.. repeat: setup, vehicle, maintenance and it should show it the second time. i've included a video.

do me a favor and set one of your minders to 5 miles or something and see if it comes up on your screen at the end.
