Make your own "Silver" bulbs??

I know someone did it on this board, but I cant find the pictures or the name of the product used. Someone painted their bulbs with some kind of translucent paint that made them look almost silver or a silverish pearl from the outside, but then would shine whatever color they actually were (i.e.-turn signal bulbs). Anyone know the post or what the name of the paint was?

Anyone have any other suggestions for painting the bulbs to get ride of the the orange turn signals? FYI-The Silverstar turn signal bulbs will NOT fit in the front bumper....I already tried a long time ago.

Not sure of the post, but maybe you could tape off all but the tip of the bulb and spray it with silver paint.
Just a thought.

There is a paint made by 'Vans' that is called 'Bulb Paint'.

It's getting harder to find, but here is one place that seems to still have it.

I'll probably do the same with the front turn signals whenever my lazy self feels like it

titanium coated bulbs are the silver mirrored ones that flash amber as turn signals. They are pretty darn nifty.
