I JUST saw this on the Chevy dealerships lot... I was there getting parts for my Silverado and noticed this thing sitting right there.

It was getting traded in just now... too bad I didn't get there sooner, I would have bought it right out from under them.

They want a $44,500 ... sigh. I was trying not to act so freaking excited but I think I failed regarding containing myself lol.

They say its already been allocated to wholesale but that's the price for retail. I told them I dont have time to talk right now, too busy getting dirty, but to call me on Monday to talk.

Help me out here guys... This thing isn't getting sold there ,what type of numbers do you think they are working with.

Considering its going wholesale, what do you think that is? I want to try and aim a cash-in-hand offer for around 5k over wholesale to get the dealer to play ball.

Do it. That's just about what I paid for the same rig in white last month (similar mileage). we love it...including my wife.

Whenever we were car shopping (the 4Runner won out), I inquired about a Jeep Commander that was on the lot. They had received it in as a trade a week or so prior. Turns out it didn't pass their Certified Pre-Owned inspection and was being sold wholesale. I asked what that meant and was told that once it was labeled as wholesale only a person with a dealers license could buy it. Basically it was going to a dealership auction and would end up at Joe's used cars or some similar place.

I'd still talk to them about it. Especially if they haven't done any paperwork on ityet
