Manhunter's Finished Bumper

That looks great! I always appreciate it when I see a guy has done something different! You could have just bought a ARB, OR Shrockworks, or TJM, but you made your own! It's easy to buy bolt on parts, that look like everyone elses stuff, but fabbing your own.....that takes skill!

Congrats!:trophy:

I jizzed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not exactly sure what that really means, but I think I could probably guess - glad you were able to uh, well, you know. To answer a few questions in one response. The bumper was made by two guys in my local 4wheeling club - and I kind of came up with design, but them made it with the intent to follow the flow lines of the design of the rest of the body, and the maximize my lower approach angle, I think they accomplished both. This was their first attempt at fabbing something for a Toyota, as they are both Jeepsters. It took several weekends and many weeknights, and a few re-dos on certain parts, before the completion. I was able to totally leave my 4runner with them for the entire time, which made it even better for them to do the custom fit and design. Regarding the cost, I promised them I would not disclose that so they would not be taken advantage of by others who wanted to have one made also, ...., but they are calling it the million dollar bumper as they feel like that is how much time they put in on it. He said that he would be willing to make more if anyone is interested as long as they understand how slow he works and that he takes his time.

glad ur project is finsihed..turned out really really good man. nice upgrades there.

you should do some b4 and after pics to see how big of the change it was

If anyone would know how to build a stout bumper for getting unstuck it would definitely be those guys.

hahahahaha! every time I go out with the Jeep guys I end up pulling someone out. I think I heard somewhere that some off road parks are instituting a new rule that requires one Toyota per 3 Jeeps in each group.

Haha. THat's a good one, I will have to post that on their forum. The two or three of us in the club that have Toyotas are always ribbing them about how they always bring extra Jeep parts with them, and that our winches are really Jeep Pullers.

More pics

manhunter can you do me favor the take more pics with more angles on the side on top of the bumper to get idea the angle of approach.
