T toto New member Mar 5, 2008 #2 Welcome! The MAINT light comes 5000 miles after it was last reset. It doesn't indicate a specific problem - it's a reminder to change the oil. It doesn't know that the oil really needs changing - it just thinks it has been at least 5000 miles.
