Yea I'll probably buy another S4 avant at some point... maybe. Or get a dedicated track toy. I'm just a sucker for a fast wagon though.

It came surprisingly fast. I think it only took about a week. That being said, the link Primetime posted is in NJ, so you may as well go that route since it's a buck cheaper anyway.
Just got it cut yesterday and programmed it myself during my lunch. Super easy if you follow the directions (I just googled them); got everything working first try. Now I don't have that stupid fob making a racket while I drive, and less sh*t in my pocket.

Been a while since I’ve done anything, but finally got around to slapping on some LaminX on my fogs. Kinda did a shoddy job so will likely end up redoing at some point. Looks decent from a few feet back at least:
Was also planning on doing the SAI relay today (thanks Jeff!), but broke a wire at one of the connectors. Fixed it, but have to move on to some other chores for the day.
Next upgrade: tires! Deciding between going with a dedicated winter set (stock size Nokian Hakka R3 SUV) or a snowflake A/T (Cooper AT3 4S - 265/65 18). Leaning towards to Coopers since they tend to do a pretty good job of clearing snow and getting the salt down here in NE. Plus then I can just have one set of wheels and tires, which is nice while I’m still renting an apartment.

New shoe day! Decided to go with a 3MPSF AT tire for 4-season use instead of a dedicated winter tire for the first time in my life. Picked up some 265/65-18 Cooper AT3 4S’s on a Black Friday deal for $140 a pop. I’ll write a full review once I get some miles in them. Should get their first test tomorrow as I’m heading out on a little backcountry ski adventure.

I have an '06 Limited with 18"s that I'm starting to build up a bit as well.
Did you find it tough to get the laminX to sit nicely on the curved surface of the fogs? I was going to get some along with my yellow bulbs, but hesitated when I thought about how it might not sit flush.

Ha, I have almost the same story as you... just sold my Audi daily driver to get into an older, higher-mileage T4R identical to yours other than color.
Though I still own several VAG vehicles currently:
72 VW Bus 4MT
82 Rabbit Diesel L 4MT
97 Golf 2.0 5MT
06 GTI 2.0T 6MT
06 Cayman S 6MT
I'm already missing the Audi. 130k miles and no issues, but I knew they were coming soon

Great choices on your modifications and the stages :thumb3: I had almost the exact same "Stage 1" for mine - level kit, tires, HID retrofit, and wheel spacers. A Daystar "Budget Boost" arrived in the mail yesterday and I decided to go with these LED bulbs as an alternative to HIDs which have gotten great reviews... check out this thread: 06-09 LED headlight bulbs. MUST TRY list

I was in the same boat; wanted to keep stock springs. Stock fronts springs on the 3rd of 4 perch height; also replaced front shock mounts. 4600’s in the back to keep RAS with stock shock length. Leveled it out nicely. Now having an issue with drivers side RAS sagging a bit. Probably just need to replace both sensors after years of exposure to the NE salted roads. Fortunately I’m out in the PNW now and they don’t salt here.
