The problem is not with the hubs, it's with the CVs. With auto hubs, your CVs are always spinning with the front tires. The BJ spacers will add more angle to the CVs, and always spinning + not-factory CV angles leads to increased CV wear and torn boots.
You can run ball joint spacers and auto hubs just fine, but be ready for more frequent CV service, that's all. Or install manual hubs, it's an easy swap.

I might as well do the manual hub swap otherwise I always gonna worry about the CVs. Im gonna have to wait a bit. If anyone sees some good used ones for sale or has some that wil work on a 94 please let me know. I guess I prefer Aisin since that seems to be what most people are using.

Are the parts on the link all u really need to make the fron into manual locking ? I thought u needed to change cv axles and stuff?

I think the conversion is just a matter of getting a complete hub and the 54mm locknuts and bolting it on, but wait for somebody who knows what they're talking about to be sure... I've always had manuals so I've never had to do it.

I think its even simpler than that. I think you just put take the old hubs off and put the new ones on. There is still the issues or the Slide collar for the ADD, but as long as your 4wd works now it shouldn't be an issue. Solutions to this are either to lock it in place or swap out the whole drivers side tube with a non ADD tube, which requires a new oil seal in the diff.

Having just done this, I'll chime in. I just put the manual hubs on and hit the trail. I'm looking in to disabling the ADD just to eliminate it, but there is no issue to leaving it. When I recently replaced my front diff I was looking for one without ADD, but couldn't find one with the right gears.

I just did mine with the Warn Manual Hubs. If you call them tell them you are doing a conversion. They will set you up with the conversion kit, new star washer, adjusting nut, lock washer and locking nut. You will need to order the 54mm socket separately. I got mine off of Amazon, but I think Wabfab has them for a little cheaper than I got. Plus I think theirs is a 3/8 drive instead of the 1/2. The idea being that you might not have a 1/2 drive out on the trail with you in the event that you need to pull the CV.

I put Aisin Hubs in my 92 (with ADD) and love them. Do yourself a favor and rebuild them before you put them in your truck. It is super easy to do, just make sure you don't lose the little ball in the turn dial.
I don't know this from experience but I heard that the Aisin ones are even better than Warn's.

I do know from experience, Aisin hubs are much stronger then Warn. You can find Aisin hubs used all day long. I picked up a set for my SAS runner for $120 shipped. Compared to the $400+ for new ones. Just gota know how to use the internet.
