Have a 97 sr5 with 5 speed. Need to either rebuild or replace tranny....anyone know the code/number for this truck?

6Cyl 5vz engine = R150F

I had a issue with my r150f. Found one on car parts. There are a lot of them on there. Especially from tacomas. Long story short. Picked one up from Maryland for $150, said it had 100k. It works perfectly. Kept my old one. Going to one day try and tear it down and rebuild it for fun.

Man, I wish there were lots of those R150's at our yards here. I don't have a backup trans just in case the one I have now goes kaput.
