Ya, that looks heavy-duty compared to other long-travel setups. Not sure if I would build a 4runner crawler. But that sure looks like it could go the job and probably makes more sense than a desert setup for many people. Lets see what it costs.

I believe this will be a $10K kit when it's all said an done. Well outside the casual off roader's budget. I understand that there has probably been thousands of dollars spent on all three versions of this kit and that's why it's so expensive but I feel it might not be as successful as it could be just for that reason. Looks awesome though! If I had $10K to burn, I'd go this route.

I've been out on the trail with the white taco in most of the marketing photos. It really works well. I'd love to run that setup if/when my 4Runner passes from daily driver to weekend toy. IMO it's a lot better suited to my type of use than a go-fast desert racing setup. I think the idea/design could have some real potential if you combined with rear portal axles or possibly an IRS of the same design. It's about as close to portal axles as you can have without the headache of portals.
