I travel a lot for work, but this Fall looks good for me staying in town. Because of constant family commitments on the weekends, I need some lead time if we meet up on a Sat or Sun. I work in Alexandria, so depending on where the meet up is scheduled-I could be there by 6:30pm on a week night.
I'm thinking somewhere in PG county as a central meeting place. That can attract the PG,AA, Montgomery county guys-as well as any of the others that may work in DC or NOVA.
how does oct 15th look for everyone? a closer date would be fine as well. I don't mind driving (with in 1.5 hour drive)

Hey, i just moved to Fort Meade area.i got a 01 Limited with the Sonoran Steel kit in the rear and radflo 2.5's up front on it.
Are there any good Toyota mechanics/ fabrication shops around here? I am looking to get some armor thrown on.
Anyone know of some trails that i won't need to drive over 2 hours for?

October 15 is too far out for me to be able to commit between work and family. But I'm definitely interested if I'm available!! I'm good to drive about an hour or so to meet up.

I'm of no help on the fab shop-sorry!! If you do locate one, post it up here!!
But I can tell you that you'll need to travel to Western MD, PA, or VA to get to any decent trails. So your two hour guess it right on.

I just talked to Mobtown Offroad and they do fabrication and other stuff. They have pictures of armor up for mainly Tacos but the guy just started working on a 3rd gen that he picked up and im going to try and get mine in there soon. there is also a Arlington Motor Car Service who is an ARB dealer. their prices seemed a little high for labor to me though.

Joe at Mobtown is a great guy and a quality fabricator if you get a chance to see his stuff in person do it depending on where you located at I have a buddy who has his sliders on his Tacoma we could probably arrange a time to see them

Best trails around here are gonna be 1-2 hours north in Pa at Rausch off-road park or south GW national forest also the Cove in Winchester as far as Md very limited trails in Garrett county and forest roads in Allegheny county at Green Ridge state forest

And just in case anybody is interested another Toyota group is planning a camping meet at Green Ridge S.F. on 10/21-10/23 but some are just coming up for Saturday to cruise the forest roads.Im not on here a lot but I am going and camping so if you have any interest in coming up even just for the day you can pm me and I will share any info I get
