Only places to wheel (legally) around here are Rausch Creek (2hr drive), Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA 2.5hr drive). Seem to be more in VA near the GW National Forrest, The Cove Campground in Gore VA.(but I believe prior approval from the campground operator is required)

On Facebook there is a Mid-Atlantic Overland Society Group. Feel free to join the group. It's not so much a 4Runner group but a group of folks interested in Overlanding (otherwise known as outdoor living and wheeling)and off-roading. Just had a meet-up this past Wednesday night at the Green Turtle in Annapolis MD. Usually trying for once a month or two. There is also a Northern VA faction that has meet-ups closer to DC.

Yep! I was at the get-together last week. A good time was had by all. 4Runners, Jeeps, and Land Rovers living in harmony

The Annapolis-area group of the Mid-Atlantic Overland Society is having another get together on 12/16 @ 7pm in Annapolis.
If interested - go over to Facebook, join up, and get the details. The Annapolis area group are good people with a diverse group of vehicles and knowledge.

I am just across the MD boarder in Va, just outside of Brunswick MD. For those that are not familiar, that is between Frederick MD and Harpers Ferry VA. I would be interested in a simple meet up as well, wheeling is also fun but I like beer almost as much as my T4R. :laser:

Ellicott City here. Picked up my new 4Runner only about a week ago and so far I love it. Traded in a 2016 Tacoma for it and i'm happy I did. Such a huge upgrade in every way. I absolutely loved the Tacoma but this is just night and day.

I'm reposting this from another thread, just trying to get more people out.


So Frisco in Columbia for lunch then? How about Saturday at noon on 3/18? I figured at lunch time everyone cold meet up and check out everyone's trucks pretty easily. We got maybe 3 people so far, it would be nice to have a few others. If it works out it'd be nice to plan some trail rides in the future.

So far we got 4 - 5th gen owners and me as the sole 4th gen coming out. 2 trucks look fully built up so at least we got a little variety, looking forward to meeting everyone.
