MAS Upgrade?

Hey guys,
I just make an intake for my 97 SR5 and I noticed that the inlet on the MAS is only 2"! Is there another MAS with the same plug/ voltage sweep thats 2.5" that anyone knows of? Do the 2000's have the same inlet restriction?

I believe the best swap is a supra MAF. It is bigger, much less restrictive, and pretty much a plug and play. The newer style 4 runner MAF's are 5 wire and won't easily install.

awesome! thanks for the reply, which gen supra mas should I be looking for? turbo or n/a?

here's a pic of the intake I made. I cut up an aem kit for a jetta that I had lying around. I just cut two 2" holes in the front of the filter box, and threw a k&n filter in.

It's possible but not a plug and play. Plus, there is not a huge increase to be had since the newer MAF's are a different style and not that restrictive.
