mass air meter?

Hello everyone! I'm new hear and have a question about my 90 4runner. I gave it a tune up(basic stuff) and after, the vehicle had no spark and wouldn't start. I put the old stuff back on and still no spark. I found out the mass air meter is faulty. How did a tune up effect the MAM??? Is there anything I can do besides buy a new one? Maybe electrical cleaner spray???? THANKS

A simple tune-up should not cause a problem with the MAF sensor. Some electrical contact cleaner may help, but be careful, they're a bit fragile.
