Matts N/A T4R vs. Scotts S/C T4R Video

OK fine heres 2 videos comparing my n/a 4runner and scotts s/c 4runner. Im still tuning so i shouldn't show you guys this but maybe this will shut everyone up
!!!Keep in mind I'm in Denver,CO 5280 ft elev. and Scotts in Oak Ridge, TN 850 ft elev.!!!

Notice both videos are 10 seconds long

Sweet! hey, why dont you cut the body completely off, and just roll with a floorboard and seat on the drivers side and take that ***** to the dragstrip, you will be running with the funny cars! haha1
 
I will say this and this is in no way a rebuttal to any of this can a 4runner be fast nonsense goin on (personally i like sleeper that are underdogs VR4 galant perfect example)

anyway, I converted the 302 in the LTD over to points so there are no electronics that can fry on my during a derby and ran the exhaust out the hood (something to try?) and this thing would freakin roll, i welded the gears up in the rear end for posi and will leave some double S's like none other, of course all it is is seat, cage, body, frame, and 210lbs of pissed off cracker

So one minute you don't even understand what your genius mechanic did to your cylinder head that increased the displacement of your engine (which isn't possible without doing work on the bottom end too BTW), and then the next minute you think you know more about cars than most of the people on this board?????

Ummm... YA! Have you read some of the crap that these people have left on these boards? See i dont know that exact details of all the components of an engine but i do know how they work. I also know that if you want to make something faster, and you don't exactly how to do it, then you find someone who does and either pay them, become really good friends with them or find them on a message board and ask them questions. It seems to me that from everyones pessimism about fast 4runners, i dont think most of these people actually know how much potential the 5vz has. I didnt know that much about em before i joined this website, but i did have bit of mechanical knowledge. and now after only 2 months of reading thread after thread and really taking an intrest in the matter, I've gained quite a bit of knowledge about 4runners. Most the people on here dont care about performance. Go count the number of threads about good gas mileage compared to the number of threads about performance. Thats why I'm getting such a kick out of these debates, its peaking intrest. And enough with the "you dont know what you're talking about" bullshit. I just dropped $6k into my 4runner over the weekend and i have a mechanic that knows more about toyotas then anyone ive ever talked to before, including gadget.

i take pride in doing everything myself. No one else works on my vehicles except for me. anyone can pay to have a fast car built, but for me, its the joy of completing a project and knowing you did it yourself. Its so rewarding. So when someone asks me who did it(or who built it)i can say "i did it myself"

Well im not just buyin the stuff and then sayin "well there you go, ill be back to pick it up". as far as engine internals go, all ive ever worked on are atvs, which kinda follow the same laws but no. Every thing that has been done to my 4runner, if its something that could screw up bad then i watch but other than that, mr. mechanic stands behind me and tell me what to do.
