Max Load in Truck Bed

I recall reading in the owner's manual that one should not put more than 150 lbs in their truck bed.

But, those 4Runners with 3rd row seats could easily have at least 450 lbs back there if 3 adults sit in the 3rd row seats.

Is the framing different for 4Runners with the 3rd row seats?

If not, what's the real max weight that one could load into the bed (eg. if one were to be transporting bags of dirt, bags or rock, mulch, etc)?

i believe its actually 500 lbs, ive had that and more back there with no issues

The 3rd row only has two seats and not three and they are supposed to only seat kids. 150 pounds does sound low, and maybe there is something extra in the 3rd rows because iirc you cannot get a 3 row with xreas for some reason
