I'm at 22.75-ish both sides with Toytec aluma 2.5's.
Toytec said preload height (adjustment) regardless of weight should be at and not exceed 3" of lift.
So if you are at 23" and add a bumper - which drops it to 22" you can adjust preload to the 23" mark.
Same goes with leveling. For my stance the drivers side has more preload than the passenger but both are right at the 22.75" range.
I had it up to 23.25" (based on available adjustment) and going down to 22.75" made the ride/handling much better.
Also have Dobinson UCA's.
