Maximum Weight on GEN1 Fibreglass roof???

Hello All,

I am in the process of organising a roof rack for my T4R - I have a fibreglass roof and am just wondering how much weight the ol girl can handle?

Also do I trust the window rails or do I use a screw in model?

If I use the screw in model how do I get past the lining? or do I just go straight through it?

A previous owner on mine must have had a roof rack, as they installed some rails on the back part of the top to clamp it to. They're the same shape and style as the 'rain gutters' over the rear windows, but bolted through. It looks like they just drilled two holes and used small PVC pipe as spacers (as the top is tapered back there).

Not sure about the weight, I would assume a few hundred pounds, I know I've stood on my topper...
