I was actually able to talk him out of it. He doesn't wheel much so it would've been lots of money spent for nothing. He got new tires and is planning to just regear and lock it up front and back.

It would be great if u could make it Al. All u really need is a locker and some sliders. Oh and be willing to sacrifice your rear bumper to the trail gods!

Ken I'm bummed u can't make it. If your plans fall thru then we'll be expecting u! And yes Dishpan is pretty gnarly!

Eric, so glad u were able to talk sense into your buddy. I sure hope u make this run with us, who else is going to show us the line up the waterfall!? :jaw:

Yeah that's it. It's basically on the corner of 173 and Hook Creek rd. If you take Hook Creek a 1000ft or so there is a big parking lot we can meet in. No one should bother us.
 
Excellent. Well there will be 3 of us for sure next Saturday. I'm excited as this is one of the 3 toughest trails up there. The other two are John Bull and Holcomb Creek, which we did on our last run, April 11th. Looking forward to this!!!

Hey Paul I'm out. Due to it being a very narly route and having a clutch and no lockers probably not a good idea for my truck. Also the wife reminded me that she had planned something for us that day.
 
Sorry u can't make it Les. This trail is pretty gnarly so it's best not to give it a try. We were supposed to run this April 25th. So we're going now. I will be camping out however, at GVL campground July 28,29,30 if anyone wants to come up for a trail ride or to camp. I won't be doing anything too radical(I swear)because it'll be a camping trip foremost. I'll have my wife and sister with me to keep me in check! Just some easy trail rides. :angel:

Damn. Wish I could make it. Had to turn down a sat night Gold mtn and Sunday John Bull run as well. Going to be busy this weekend. Hope you guys have a good time!
 
I just welded a piece of plate for a temporary skid under the tcases. So I'll be there for sure! I'm having breakfast at the Cedar Glen Inn, which is on Hook Creek rd, basically behind the Jensen's. See you guys tomorrow.
 
What a beautiful day on the mountain! Dishpan Springs is a tough trail, no joke. Thanks to Kevin, Shaun, and Danny! You guys made it even better. A bit of damage all around, but no major breaks. Where to next???

Sorry, I've been super busy. I'm not sure how I get them off of my phone :confused: I sent what I had on my phone to Kevin. Maybe he can get them posted. I'll try to get the ones off of camera later tonight or tomorrow morning.

That's what I have on the camera worth posting. Hopefully, Kevin will post those phone pics. My girl took video of me lifting the front tire on the tough spot but, I don't know how to get it on here.
