November 5th Run: Holcomb Creek Trail 3N93

Was up in crab flats last weekend drove around construction of the bridge pretty wide area. not sure if it will be possible over 2 weeks of construction though

On Saturday Nov. 5th, Danny Cruz and I will be running the Holcomb Creek trail. The rendezvous point will be determined by the direction we run the trail. If we run it east to west we'll meet up at the Fawnskin fire station @9am. If we go west to east we'll meet up at the Running Springs Valero station. This way depends upon whether or not the creek crossing at Crab Flats is open..? Hopefully @GVL can give us an update as to its status closer to the run date. I'm doubting snow, most likely just really cold. We ran white mountain about the same time frame last year and it was dry as a bone

Freezing rain! Haven't seen that since I lived in Washington a decade ago. That would definitely make the trail more interesting.

This is not a "easy" trail. But with good driving skills you could get a stock rig thru but damage is possible.

Thanks for the kind words guys! It was a tough thing to do but even tougher to lie to my 5yr old about why I sold it.

Must've been about 2 months ago. Met a guy near Diamond Bar that had this Runner. Said he just came from buying it.
Hey Paul, I should be in for this. But I'll need to find out where I can park my 4Runner and trailer. Know any spots for that?

Yeah, I sold it to a buddy who lives there.

Hopefully around KOH, I'll have the Courier running and I can meet up with some of you. Have fun and post some pics!

Saturday yet? unfortunately my RCI gas skid won't be here until the 5th, which ironically is Saturday, so I need to toss my stock gas skid back on for this. Am I the only one unlocked? I'm ready to put ATRAC, my LT rear end, and 32s to the test.
