May trip to Hardrock anyone?

Well I drove the 2.5 hours down to Ocala, FL to check out the http://www.hardrockmx.com off-road park. I have quite a bit of off-road experience, but this was the first time taking my 4runner off road.
The park is quite a blast. At first they didn't want to let me use the "jeep trails" thinking I would get stuck right away. They even gave me their phone number at the front office in case I got stuck and needed a tug. I didn't.
Lots of easy trails, but some really knarly side trails. I didn't get any good pics in action, since I was by myself, but I did get a few while parked in various areas. It wasn't until after I got home and washed it that I realized I didn't get any shots after the little bit of mud I went though.
I did find an almost impossible part of the trail- got through it and then realized I was on the dirt bike hare-scramble course! Man it was tight going and even harder to turn around. The bikers thought it was awesome. Then I ended up on a huge dirt track called the "roller coaster" which was wide and well groomed, but probably 30 degree ups and down with a whoop section- After a few hills I realized I was again on a dirtbike trail and had to get off the course through the pits! I guess not too many 4runners run the "motocross track". It was a quiet day and no bikes passed me on that course. Then I ran up on a '08 Jeep wrangler and went all over the place with him. Dinged up my running board and a rim though- and a few scratches, but that's about it.

Did you get the ding in the rim from the mud pit?
I'm asking because i got one from the pit in mine.
Too bad I didn't see your post earlier, I may have met you out there. There's also a FATTshack run out there Thanksgiving weekend if anyone is interested. If I can get an alternator by then I'll be out there for that too. Well, at least one day of it. They'll be out there all weekend.

They'll still be out there on the 30th. Sounds like a plan if I manage to get the truck fixed.
Believe it or not, my wife won a set of tickets from XL1067 and we're going to Europe this weekend. It's going to be amazing, but I'm thinking I'll be broke when I get home.
There's a 99% chance I'll be there one way or the other though.
Post up on the FATTshack site that you'd like to meet them. There's only about 10 guys that post there but they're very much into Toyota's. They're a good group of friends to have.
