Neither did I until a few months back. I need new tires for my 08 since I had about 55k on the stock 18s and I was looking online at my normal tire sites (discount tire direct and tire rack)... I decided to see how the local tire shops could compare and Tire Kingdom was doing a special buy 2 get 2 free on select tires. I know that usually is a scam, when it was all said and done it worked out about the same as buying online and I got the Crossteks and a 4 wheel alignment. Pretty nice tires for my occasional off-road trip.

i have the terra grapplers and honestly i hate them there noisey tires and they just will not balance out ive tried tons of ways im just so sick of them im trying to get rid of them but the next set of tires i get will deff be toyo mts one of the niceset mud tires ive seen and they wear and balance so nice and not noisey at all and alot cheaper then 400 a tire

Odd. Are they LTs? Mine balanced without problem and I can't detect any significant noise increase. 285s.

Of course, I suppose I should be talkibg about trails here.

That just seems like a lot for a 285. I paid like $300 less total for my duratracs in a 35. But I mean if that's the tire you want, go for it. I'd shop for a better price.

They had a rebate on them at time of purchase through Goodyear and Americas tire took that off the top. Ended up at $1160 installed for 315/75/16's. I just think $1600 for 33's is a lot. But that's just my opinion.

Just looked on discounttire, the TG's are $293 each right now, duratracs in the same size are $239. Both excellent choices but I love my TG's so if you have the cash I say go for them.

no there not lts there just regular 265 70 r 17s on 4th gen 5 spoke rims

Duratracs are great! I can't comment on the trail grapplers performance, but they definitely look the part.
