Mbiker_101 build, Lift and wheels done

I wanted to thank this forum for giving me all the help needed to complete my new to me 4runner. Purchased my 2003 limited about a month ago with the help of this forum and the process is almost complete in record speed, don't even have my tags yet. Haha

Here is the list of what I've done so far...

1. Painted front and rear valance from silver to white.
2. Painted roof rack from silver to flat black.
3. Plasticoated emblems, super easy.
4. Polished headlights, may black out?
5. Removed mud flaps and trimmed fenders.
6. Purchased 2010 FJ coils and shocks. $100, great deal.
7. Purchased bilsteins 5100 all around and daystar 1.5 spacer for rear. Front set 1.75
8. Airlift 1000 bags for rear.
9. Found Fj wheels powder coated black from another member with BFG 285/70/17. Thanks Matt!!!
10. Installed pioneer avh-P4400bh, love it.
11. Removed running boards.
12. Tinted front wndows
13. What's next? I need to disable trac off button to full time. Is it really just a couple of wires?

These are 6 lug, 16 inch diameter and 7.5 inch wide.

These are 6 lug, 16 inch diameter and 7.5 inch wide.

The 16" wheels won't clear the sport edition caliper, so no they won't fit.

Norcal, Taped the Roof racks off. Here's a tip, go to HomeDepot and get the big painters masking paper, saves a bunch of time.

Evan, no wheel spacers, the fj wheels have more back spacing I believe? They fill out the wheel wells nicely. Although I will probably be downsizing my tires from 285s to 265s since I have a set from my grand Cherokee that were just put on and these 285s are getting close to end of life, but still have 10,000 left I guess. Anyone interested in the 4 285s? I'd let the set go for $100, local pickup only.

That's surprising. It looks just right for backspacing and I didn't expect that from factory FJ wheels. Do you know what year FJ they came off of?

looks great love the white with black rims, i have the FJ rims too and love them, keep posting pictures with updates, if i was you i wouldnt go back down to 265, i would try to sell those 265s and get atleast a 275 i think you may be dissapointed going from 285s to 265s. Just my 2 cents.

I agree that the 285s look great but I have 4 almost brand new BFG ATs and don't want to get rid of those, they last forever. I Will go back up to 285s if I have to replace.

Thanks for the tip!! I always wanted to paint mine black, but wasn't sure which way to go about it. I'm gonna try it this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes!
