I posted a negative thread about my experiences with a dealership here in Charlotte, NC but I would like to make sure that I shared my positive experience at McGeorge Toyota.
After my experience in Charlotte I called the dealer in Richmond, VA and was able to get a better deal than I was offered in Charlotte. (note that the dealership in VA was dealing with a $1000 rebate while the NC dealership was offereing a 2K rebate)
I kept waiting for the oops we forgot to add that in and/or the miscalculation and it never came. I had them fax me the buyers order that listed every option installed on the vehicle with the out the door price in writing so I didnt waste a 9-10 hr round trip to Richmond. They were very accomodating and unfront and did a good job building the trust, which took some work after my previous experience.
I arrived at my scheduled appt, test drove the 4Runner, got the tutorial and did the paper work all in less than 2 hours.
Working with McGeorge Toyota really made the car buying experience enjoyable and made it easy for me to be as excited as possible when I bought the 4Runner.
