Mechanic In Socal?

Does anyone know a mechanic in the Socal area (Long Beach/Torrance or vicinity) that specializes in Toyota trucks? I want an honest mechanic that I can take my truck to for everything from painting the rims black to a tranny cooler.

I don't know any places in Torrance but there is a pretty good "all Japanese" shop in Coasta Mesa: Hiro's Automotive.

Personally, I take my truck to "The Truck Shop" in San Diego. It might be worth the drive depending on your needs. If you are going to spend anything about > $500 , you should definitely consider driving down from Long Beach. They open at 9am so you will have plenty of time to get there and if you make an appointment it should be no problem.

I just had my oil changed there last week and one customer had actually driven down from Long Beach. He seemed pretty happy once he got his truck back. They have really good labor rates, I think ~ $75/hr but you will have to call. The Truck Shop is a Toyota truck specialty business. They do everything from full engine rebuilds to complete fabrications.
