I have a 00 sr5 and when I accelerate it doesn't go up in speed normally but it slowly creeps up (emphasis on slowly) and then if I mash it when I'm around 30-50 it like it stops until I take my foot off. Any advice. Some guys say its oil pressure but I'm not buying it. Plus chec engines on but all that says O2 sensor needs changing. Any advice? :typing::ranger:

Of course we don't know if you HAVE already checked things out, like your air filter. Any air restriction could cause these symptoms.

i can tell it's not airflow because if it is, it would be compared to 10 potatoes and jars of peanut butter in the intake. Plus at times when I'm going faster it sounds Like gunfire all of a sudden.

Sounds like air/fuel problem or possibly timing spark issue. If O2 sensors changed then you need to look at other culprits. What else has been done to it? Anything from fuel injectors. Fuel pump, fuel filter CAT, timing. plugs could cause problem. Address the basics and work from there. Still sounds like computer telling car to produce more gas. This can cause the bog and unburned gas making it to the exhaust can cause backfire.
