A couple of weeks ago, my step-sister went off to college in New York and left her 4Runner, Lester, behind. Since the family still needs an extra vehicle and it's not good to let cars sit, I am taking over the truck for now.
I was driving a 2001 Corolla, but will be (luckily) driving this now. I was on another Toyota specific forum, so I naturally gravitated to the 4R side, but I want to join a group that is model specific, not make specific. So without further ado:
It has some minor issues, which I would like to fix. Somebody pulled out of their driveway and hit the front passenger side bumper, so I would like to fix it. The back window rolls down about an inch and nothing more, not even enough to "crack" the window. My mom broke the antenna literally the day she took my s-s to the airport, so the motor runs, but the antenna wouldn't go down (it's completely broken off now).
So far, I have done some routine maintenance, but have more plans. Changed oil/filter, changed air filter, change pcv valve, changed spark plugs. I want to build my own roof rack, hopefully in time for some winter sporting! :naughty:
I have about a dozen or so questions, but I will get to them slowly.
