The hardest part is getting the mud off from under the vehicle - it will find its way into every little hole, crack, crevice, ...., you get the picture. I still had mud in places from being there in January. Good photos Ben.
 
Oh ok, ...., I didn't see that I was spraying mud. Guess Jimmy and Kevin behind me appreciated that. FYI, Kevin, who is also the guy that did the raffle, is who built my bumper.
 
Yeah, I think I really tested it when I plowed into that pine tree on the obstacle and laid it flat. It only chipped the paint on my bumper.
 
Yeah, that east Texas mud is a b!tch to get out, one way I do it is too put the hose with a sprinkler under your car when you get home in your driveway. Leave it there for like an hour, I usually go out and move it around underneath every 15 min just to get the whole undercarriage. It works as well as anything I have found.

EDIT: And I also still have a little mud from when I was last there in January.

By the way, I am in Dallas, I would like to go wheeling with you guys some time.

Hook up with my DFW-TX4WD club. We meet every month, and do weekend rides every now and then. They are mostly Jeeps, so it gives us the chance to show off what Toyotas can do - LOL. There are actually about 4-5 Toyotas in the club also. Our forum is DFW Chapter of TX4WD. I am also known as "Manhunter" on that forum. We are the club that sponsored and put on Megarun. We would be glad to have you.

I have personally never been up to Hot Springs, that question would be better reserved for someone who has been, or you can always ask some on the forum over on TTORA, they are hosting the event.

LOL - I think we allow people from anywhere to join, we have a few from Tennessee and Colorado, and maybe Oklahoma. We will even give you the military discount and not charge you - haha. You should go on there and introduce yourself, bringing up your wonderful experience at Megarun, and sign up. It is no where as active as this forum though, maybe 15-20 posts a day tops.
