Memo about TPS reports...

My girl just started throwing P0120 repeatedly. First time was after revving almost to redline on sunday, which threw the code and caused a freeze in the tach, and hardly any power. I unplugged the TPS, then replugged, the code went away and it worked fine, but now again today it threw 0120 about 5 times on my way to work. It comes back almost immediately after clearing the code now.

I have read the threads on here about it, but has anyone had a consistent P0120 that didn't result in replacing the TPS?

I'm not sure, but I can say it was cheap to replace and easy to do.

I paid 50 bucks from the dealer when I did it.

Yeah, I found it for $43. I think I am just stalling on the buy so I can think of other parts I need to order and save on shipping.

I figure while I wait, I might as well see if anyone has gotten around replacing it.
