Any cool pics/stories from this past weekend 4x4 trips?

Here's looking outward from The Reward Mine off the 395 after an epic Alabama Hills camp trip.

I didn't get any pics of the 4Runner or the road up, but FS 4109 to the Silver Star Trailhead most certainly requires 4wd - first FS road I managed to scrape skid plats on. Picked up some new pinstripes too. Trip was worth it. Hike was gorgeous.

Left to right: Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier (way in the distance), Mt. Adams.

This is the only photo i took while getting fish tacos in Ensenada. Got her a little dirty afterwards and took some light trails because I had my family in the vehicle.

i also installed some 305/65/70's. They sit a bit lower than the 285/70/17's but the wide stance is much meaner looking.

On Memorial Day, I drove my wife in my 4Runner Trail to her fathers' grave to put a small flag and some flowers on it to honor his service in WWII. 101st Airborne Paratrooper dropped roughly 2 kilometers from Sainte-Mère-Église the night before D-Day behind enemy lines. Ultimately came home missing his left eye. Never looked back... I'm sorry, but that is what this holiday is about.

I did a little overland trip through Elephant Hill in Canyonlands, all the way south through Manti La Sal, Bears Ears, and Valley of The Gods to Monument Valley. Aired up and down 3 times but ultimately 200 miles of dirt.
