Memorial Day Weekend in Death Valley

Since Blair did such a great job in posting pics I didn't post many as they would have been similar. Also, since I was leaving for Oregon the following weekend I didn't do much more with the images from DV. I got an email from Anthony today (one of the guys in the motorcycle group we helped out). So I did the post work on the images for him.

Blair and I were able to save them about a day of detours because someone had told them to go the wrong way. They ended up taking our advice and camped on Hunter Mtn before heading to the hot springs they were after. Anthony mentioned they finished their 10 day journey though.... "Vegas, St. George, Zion, Moab, Grand Junction, Denver, Omaha, Chicago, and Traverse City." What a great trip on a motorcycle....

Blair did you buy your new toy yet? :lol:

Mannn that trip looked fun

Wish I coulda gone w/ ya'll, but I'm stuck here in SA. Maybe I can get all the Texas guys to meet up at Big Bend or somethin

A stock 4R should be fine on a trip like though. However you MUST have the proper tires out there. AT or MT tires are a must!!! You can easily will shred stock tires them on the rocks out there. My truck performed great as usual...Blairs truck seemed to perform well. He never said it didn't ;) He will have to weigh in on that one.
