This is true...however, the USA importation of G-wagens will likely end in 2006. The G-wagens are simply not selling well in the USA.

Thai, don't let the guys a IH8MUD know this I miss you over there come back and lets get somemore good discussion going. Since I bought my Landcruiser and also still have my 4runner I have a better insight on the differences in the 2 vehicles. I think the LC is a luxury vehicle and my 4runner is a sports car. I let my wife (who now drives the 4runner to work everyday) drive the LC for a couple of days. She works for "Best Friends Animal Society" and her office is in the boondocks, she drives on unimproved roads, very rough, semi off road driving. Her comment was that she loves the 4runner and how it handles the roads a lot better then the LC. I think its the Xreas shocks that make the difference. I'm sure that the LC would beat the 4runner on the rough off road stuff but for what 99% of owners will ever experience the 4runner is the way to go for the $$$. I do love the highway ride of the LC and the comfortable seating position and of course the looks but that is just my personal opinion.
