I know what you mean, but after 40 years of strictly stick shifts, I'm enjoying the automatic for daily driving.

Merry Christmas from VA......where our forecast is calling for a very wet holiday. Oh well, I only have to drive about ten or twelve miles and will not be on the Interstate today.

This afternoon was a VERY wet and cool (ie 36 degrees) drive home from my brother's house.
As usual, the 4Runner never missed a beat no matter how heavy the rain was.
