A friend used to live in Anchorage -- her daughter really enjoyed it. The news said that it was torn down a few days ago by city order but that someone resurrected it overnight.

I'll try to post a photo of snowzilla that I copied from the local paper.

Snowzilla has been getting tons of media coverage, I am in MA and I see articles about him everyday on Yahoo! and CNN.com - I guess this guy builds a massive snowman in his yard every year and each year it gets bigger and bigger. It was 15ft last year and 20ish ft this year. The city/residents really dont like it because of a safety hazard (bs) and all the additional traffic/noise (real reason) it brings. After being ordered to take it down it was rebuilt mysteriously overnight. I guess to make Snowzilla the guy and his kids gather snow from all over the neighborhood.

Awesome, thanks for the pic JP. My friends and I built a 6' or so high snowman at the ski resort last year. Towards the end of last winter season, I took that fun into a sushi restraunt and made a mini one out of wasabi. I'll post pics (if I can find it).
