Metal in Power Steering Fluid AFTER Pump Replacement

So, I just had a new pump put into my 05 4Runner SE V8 (running close to 100k miles). The tech said he flushed the system twice because the fluid was black and stunk. So... my steering issue when I picked it up was slightly better then got worse than ever soon after. So, new pump within two weeks and my Power Steering fluid is full of metal... What next?

There is no true way to get metal out of the ps system. Flushing that system is just sucking the fluid out of the reservoir and puting new fluid back in. They do that over and over until the fluid in the res stays clean. Unfortunately the doesnt really pull any metal out. Can u tell what type of metal it is? If its magnetic you could attach a magnet to the ps cap and let it collect there instead of letting it go back in the system. Or you could find a ps filter to put in the line. I think a few companies make universal filters.

or go to your local auto parts store and you can usually get a power steering filter and add it in probably run it a few days then change it again. not an oem item mind you but itll get rid of the metal bits.
