Method Wheels... Good or bad choice for 4Runner?

I can confirm that the Method Roost is indeed hub centric for Toyotas without centering rings. And the 17x8.5 et0 is light enough to compensate for the added weight of stock-sized K02s (using the "C" load range version).

Make sure you use the extended "in the hole" lug nuts with these wheels.

If you're trying to sell something, put it in its appropriate place, you get more hits :

For example 16" wheels won't fit on a 5th gen or a 4th gen, trying selling them in "Classic" through 3rd gens.

I've had methods on my last 3 trucks, I'm kind of bored of them eventually I'm going to swap to walker evans or racelines.

Posted above where the finish is failing I had the same issue on my double standards I'm 99% its the clear anodize they use mine hazed up then started peeling. Zero issue with their black besides it being boring.

Two part question here...

So I've noticed that there isn't a whole lot of people that are running method wheels? Is there a particular reason behind this?

And while Im at it, for anyone with experience: I have a 2016 SR5 and Im planning on running he Toytec boss kit, 285/70R17 BFG K02 or Duratrac. Will I have to do a body mount chop with a 17x8.5 wheel, 0 offset, and 4.75 backspacing?

Im trying to find a solid wheel that doesn't require a crazy amount of cutting.

The wide angle lens adds some girth :lightsaber: lol

But just bilstien 5100's all around rear is stock, front is set at 1.75", front sway bar removed.

Nice how much lighter are the P vs the LT's? I just like the piece of mind with the LT especially the last time we went shooting in Mojave some dickhead dumped a bucket of roofing nails on the trail. Got home and pulled over dozen out of my tires none of them fully punctured thank god but the same thing happened to a buddy with P series yokohama's awhile back same area. All 4 tires were punctured he ended up just buying 4 new tires because he wasn't comfortable knowing we used a entire plug kit on his tires.

But then it could be luck I've only ever had 1 blowout and 1 puncture, knock on wood.

Bump for the same question. I'm torn between doing custom bronze TRD Pro Wheels or going with the MR701. This is the only 5th gen picture I've seen and I really like it. Anyone else running them?

I have had methods on the last two trucks....I believe they are the 312's on 285/75/17 BFG's have no complaints at all.
