Method Wheels... Good or bad choice for 4Runner?

Are the Method wheels (specifically the NVs) hub centric for the 4Runner?

For those who want to be fully hub-centric, you want these. NOT NEEDED with correct lugs, but for peace of mind and the best fit.

Just ordered a set of Method NV's from TotalAutomotiveLV for my Tundra. They are the matte black ones. I will be running longer heavy duty studs, colored lugs & 315 Hercules Tire. Might have them powder-coated too!

For quite some time now I have been encountering a problem with the center caps for my Method NV's. Every time I go to get my T4R serviced and tires rotated 1 or more screws holding the center piece together end up coming loose and make noise while i drive at slow speeds and it drives me crazy! i end up not being able to fix the problem for a while because i work full time and cant always find time to make it to my buddies shop on the weekend to lift up the T4R, remove the wheel to get access to the center cap, tighten back up the screws that came loose and remount the wheel.

my question is...are there aftermarket center pieces that will fit?

should i contact Method and try to get new center caps?

what would you do?

please tag me with replies. thanks.

I dont run cabs, I just cleaned & painted my hubs and call it a day. Too many fall off when I offroad anyway.

There are aftermarket caps - good thread on them here Mchang

the 17" roost weighs 25.2 lbs with 106.25 center bore. at least according to the email I sent method requesting this info 5 months ago.

The finish on mine would only last about 9 months before they started to corrode. Tire Rack replaced them twice and then just refunded them.

Love mine so far. I feel much better running Method than my TRD Pro wheels with 1.25 Spider Traxx Spacers.

nguyenn - By chance, do you have a photo of your T4R with the TRD pro wheels and 1.25" spacers? Why do you feel better, was there a performance issue?
