Michelin LTX A/T-2 Owners...need your opinion

P265/65/17's same as the stock Cross Terrains. And yes they are noisier. As I mentioned it doesn't phase me, but others who ride in my truck comment

I can't imagine a tamer tire than the CT's. I have the same size CT and I don't think a quieter tire could be produced. Any tire will make more noise IMHO. Toyo H/T's are the only only other tire I've seen that looks like it could rival the CT in terms of noise.

wow...i thought that those TEs would have BFG LongTrails or something like that. If they do have CTs, then that is good because CTs are great highway tires and you can probably get more $$$$ on trade-ins than those cheap BFGs.

The Michelin CT's are the most comfortable and quietest tire on a SUV or pickup truck I've ever had.

Noise?

TAKO, Toyo MT, BFG MT, Dunlop OEM's, all a harsher ride and all a lot noisier.

YMMV, but for me and the folks who routinely ride in my 2007 V8 4Runner, they all want to travel on trips in my 4Runner as it's a very comfortable ride. :beer:

My dad had these tires. they lasted long as crap but that was mainly highway miles. went off roading only when we went hunting(nothing extreme but never got stuck) they are pretty quiet but i never like the look. i like aggressive looking tires so i would never buy these even if they lasted 200k miles

My '09 TE had Dunlop Grandtreks. Not anymore, for my needs, I put on Michelin Latitudes for the rest of the road trips (4K+ in two months time). I will be getting o/r wheels and tires later.
